Day 01: Vigo- Cambados
The transfer from Vigo airport or Vigo train station to the seaside fishing village of Cambados marks the beginning or our trip. Afterwards we will walk with our guide in the old city of Cambados, discovering beautiful manor houses, sailor neighborhoods and quite stone streets by night. And if the weather is good, we might be able to enjoy the amazing sunset in the Ocean. Accommodations in a small, boutique style hotel in Meaño.
Day 02: Meaño (Cambados) - Discovering the Seaside in Rias Baixas
After breakfast at the hotel, we will discover the hard task of collecting seafood with the expert guidance of the seafood harvesters. Then we will have time to enjoy another local specialty, the Albariño wine, in one of the most impressive wineries of the area: Pazo Baión. At lunchtime we come back to Cambados to enjoy the local gastronomy, and afterwards we will sail the Ría de Arousa in a private tour, enjoying the amazing and unique coastal landscape of the Galician “Rías”. Day 03: Meaño (Cambados) - Rubians - Padron- Santiago
Breakfast. Today we will visit manor house in Rubiáns with its Camellia gardens declared International Excellence Gardens. We continue our journey following by van the Maritime Jacobean Way from Carril to Padrón (traslatio), and finally Santiago. Free time for lunch, and in the afternoon we will have time to enjoy the vibrant cultural life of this city. Accommodations in a charming, boutique style hotel.
Day 04: Santiago
Breakfast. Today we will explore the old city with a guided tour with local guide that we will show us the Pilgrimage and Religious manifestations, but also the University and the different cultural activities in this city. Afterwards we will be transferred to Fisterra, the westernmost point in Europe, with its astonishing lighthouse. In Fisterra we will enjoy a lunch based on grilled fishes and seafood. Accommodations.
Day 05: Santiago
After breakfast, end of our services.
In the event that 4 minimum passengers aren’t reached, Petrabax will provide an option to purchase the tour with an additional supplement based on the actual number of travelers if under 4 passengers.
