Then the route begins to descend towards the banks of the Miño River, where we can find some vineyards. Day 3: Portomarín ‐ Palas de Rei (25 Kms / 15.5 mi)
Breakfast. Owing to the construction of a dam on the river Miño, the former village of Portomarin was abandoned and now its remains rest under the water. The imposing church of San Nicolás was moved stone by stone from the former to the new location. In this stage villages are spaced farther apart. In the town of Ligonde, important examples of traditional architectural styles can still be seen. Our last village is Palas de Rei, whose name comes from a supposed royal palace built in the surrounding area. VALUE PACKAGE INCLUDES DINNER AT YOUR HOTEL THIS EVENING.

Day 4: Palas de Rei ‐ Arzúa (30 Kms / 18.6 mi)
Breakfast. Our stage runs in the region of A Ulloa, a land of meadows with a strong dairy production and known for its delicious cheeses. O Pedrouzo
