Day 1: Roncesvalles.
NOTE: We can arrange a private transfer from Pamplona (about 1 hour away) or St. Jean Pied de Port, France (about 40 mins) to Roncesvalles for an additional fee - Consult Petrabax for special pricing). Arrive to Roncesvalles on your own. Free day in Roncesvalles at leisure. Your information packet containing complete route descriptions and materials will be waiting for you at your hotel. Day 2: Walk Roncesvalles to Akerreta (28 km / 17.3 mi)
Breakfast. You will start from this mythical point on the French Way, descending to the towns of Burguete and Espinal, then crowning the peak of Mezkiriz. From this point a constant descent will take you through beautiful Navarrese towns to the Arga River, which will accompany you until the end of the stage in Akerreta. PREMIUM PACKAGE INCLUDES DINNER TONIGHT.

Day 3: Walk Akerreta to Pamplona (15km / 9.3 mi)
Breakfast. Today you will walk with the course of the Arga River as a traveling companion. This short stage allows you to reach Pamplona (Iruña) with enough time to visit and enjoy this city. It is worth mentioning that its most important festival is celebrated at the beginning of the month of July, San Fermín, so if you are in Pamplona on these dates you will be able to enjoy San Fermines. Day 4: Walk Pamplona to Puente la Reina (22 km / 13.5 mi)
Breakfast. In today’s walk you will quickly reach the town of Cizur. From this point you will begin you ascent to the Alto del Perdon (Heights of Forgiveness), leaving behind the Pamplona basin and the majestic Pyrenees mountains. Before you is the continuous descent past the villages of Utrerga, Muruzabal and Obanos to the town of Puente de la Reina (Queens Bridge),  Gares, for overnight accommodations. VALUE PACKAGE INCLUDES DINNER TONIGHT.

Day 5: Walk Puenta la Reina to Estella (22 km / 13.6 mi)
Breakfast. This morning your walk through Calle Mayor will allow you to part from Puente la Reina, passing over sidewalks and dirt roads to the picturesque medieval village of Cirauqui. Once you reach the top of the village you will descend past a roman road until reaching the bridge that crosses the Salado river. After crossing the bridge you proceed along the beautiful countryside past the villages of Lorca and Villatuerta for the last few kilometers where the town of Estella (Lizarra) awaits you. Day 6: Walk Estella to Los Arcos (21 kms / 13 mi)
Breakfast. Today we will transfer you to the village of Los Arcos where you first objective will be to reach the town of Sansol. From here you descend along the Linares river for a few kilometers before ascending again to the town of Torres del Rio.  You will arrive to Viana after a beautiful walk among vineyards, olive groves, almond groves and abandoned villages. Day  7: Walk Los Arcos to Logroño (28 KM / 17. 3 mi)
Breakfast. Today’s final stage is a relatively short walk along the charming countryside and vineyards to the city of Logroño, capital of the Rioja wine region.  You’ll arrive to Logroño in plenty of time to explore the city. Accommodations in Logroño.

Day 8: Logroño
Your journey ends this morning after breakfast at your hotel.
