This restaurant, with its fabulous panoramic views, high wooden ceilings, properly toweled tables and comfortable armchairs, invites you to spend some time feasting on the inspired cuisine of the Western region!

Book the special Moon table, which is more secluded and quiet, for a more private conversation and a unique view over the Church of the Lord of Stone, or choose the Sunset table for a particularly romantic summer dinner! There are also tables with excellent views from the Manuel-style windows that will make you feel like you're the most important person in court. The originaltiles depicting birds and fish, as well as the copper pieces and the dishes, will help you travel in time.

Begin your experience with a cherry kir, in which the classic blackcurrant cream is replaced by the delicious sour cherry from Óbidos and served with strawberries and brut sparklingwine. For starters, the asparagus cream with almond, very creamy and aromatic, the traditional "peixinhos da horta" (breaded green beans), the regional sausages, the sublime fresh scallops and the foie-gras give the Western region a different flavor!

Also with equally tasty vegetarian choices, the fantastic cod "à Brás", the excellent octopus "à lagareiro", the light and original sole fillet with shellfish stew, the delicious grilled sea-bass and the imperial cod loin "à Dom Dinis" are winning choices for an unforgettable lunch. From the highly productive fields surrounding you, you will find an original 1960 recipe for country farm chicken cooked in a clay pot, a tasty roasted lamb with dirty rice, an outstanding wild duck breast, a juicy grilled veal cutlet with sweet potatoes, and, finally, the international lamb loin with a very Portuguese pine nut rice.

All meals are covered with a bell jar, increasing both the expectation as to what you will taste and the sophistication of the service. Be treated like a king or a queen in this very special castle. In addition to a menu featuring light snacks and plenty of hot and comforting drinks, as well as fresh and energizing beverages, the bar is also divided into two sections, so that you can better enjoy the different seasons of the year.

In the winter, the castle bar, guarded by the original armor and the mysterious chest whose key was lost in the mists of time, is the most comfortable place to sit down reading a book left by previous guests or one of the daily newspapers and magazines.

In the summer, the terrace bar, next to the front desk and the Casa do Castelo, is the perfect place to sit and sunbathe, have some good Portuguese wine, rest after a tour of the town, or enjoy the contact with the magnificent birds of prey displayed on the pitch
