Don’t hesitate to ask for snacks; they are always made based on seasonal and regional products. The green olives, with the characteristic acidity of Alentejo, set the tone for a full, comforting meal.
Be sure to try the pork shank, awarded in regional competitions, or the golden cod, whose original recipe of Elvas is dated to more than 40 years ago. Look for the seasonal suggestions in the menu, it is clear that in August, you'll hardly feel like a boar's feijoada made in bread, but in December it is perhaps the most appealing dish of the menu.
